The audiobook is finally here. Daniel Penz, who narrated my previous books, did a fantastic job once again. He narrates a lot of fiction work, so when I tell a story in the book, he really knows how to bring it to life! I laughed out loud several times.
In fact, I’m considering changing the preview to my embarrassing snowboarding story just because he does such a great job telling it. The current preview, which you’ll find through any of the links below, gives a more straightforward overview of why elasticity is so powerful for behavior change.

Here are some early Amazon review excerpts. It’s (by far) the best feedback I’ve ever gotten on a book.
“What an amazing book. Simply the best habit formation book I have ever read — and I’ve read a lot of them!”
~ B. Thomas (verified purchase)
“This book is going to force every other book about goals and habits to rethink their stance. Typical goals take a super-person to attain because they’re inflexible, this one operates in real life with fallible humans. At some point as you read this book you’ll have an “Aha!” moment when its truth sinks in, and you’ll see how, in its simplicity, it will work. Elastic habits will work for me daily, no matter what kind of day I’ve had (or have before me). I can see myself pursuing my goals through my habits the whole year, not just fizzling out come March. This is the most valuable book I’ve ever read on habits and goals, and I’ve read a lot! It deserves more than 5 stars.”
~ Brenda Cobb Murphy (verified purchase)
“Read it if you want to change your life in a positive way with little chance of failing.”
~ Amazon Customer (verified purchase)
“With more ways to win, habit creation is once again exciting. I highly recommend this book.”
~ M. Gonzalez (verified purchase)
“I wondered how he could have improved on “Mini Habits” in any meaningful way. But let me tell you: I am SO excited about this book and the new habit system he has in place. It’s pure genius!
~ Mrs. Davis (verified purchase)
“This fact of life makes it difficult to establish the sorts of routines that one might like to establish. And so we see a proliferation of books and apps to help us do that. This is the only one I’ve seen that takes into account the unexpected interruptions, the variety, the fluctuating energy levels, the many manifestations of change in our lives, and leverages that very variability to get us where we want to be.”
~ Jane Cassidy (verified purchase)
Phew!
I was very nervous to see how people responded to this book, and if I had communicated the ideas clearly enough because I care deeply about the principles behind this strategy (freedom, flexibility, removing shame). And I believe this is the best habit formation strategy and system. Thankfully, I’ve been blown away in a good way. A heartfelt thanks to all who have reviewed it.
I’m sorry the audiobook took this long to get here, but I even paid extra for Daniel to deliver it to me faster. The process is simply a lot slower with audiobooks.
There’s a 5-minute free preview clip. If you want to hear that, click through any of the links.

For Amazon, I only added the countries that had the audiobook available right now. I’m not sure if it is offered in other countries.
